Position Overview

  • Title: Senior Technical Support Professional
  • Salary Range: $70K-$90K/year to start.
  • Location: Cloverdale office, (Surrey BC); flexibility for partial remote work

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant work experience in IT support roles. This is a senior position, aimed at individuals with a comprehensive background in IT support and a history of leadership or significant project contributions.
  • Education & Certification: Post-secondary education in IT or a related field is preferred, along with any relevant IT industry certifications.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
    • A customer-first mindset, with a track record of providing outstanding service.
    • Strong leadership qualities, capable of guiding teams and managing projects efficiently.
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT issues.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers, networking, and firewalls.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40+ hours a week with flexible scheduling options.
  • Key Duties:
    • Provide advanced remote and onsite support, troubleshooting complex issues across a broad range of technologies.
    • Lead proactive maintenance efforts to ensure optimal system performance, including system updates, security measures, and performance tuning.
    • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the team’s capabilities.
    • Manage significant IT projects, from planning and design to execution and support, ensuring successful outcomes.
    • Continuously improve IT support processes and documentation, contributing to Superion’s commitment to excellence.
